Duvall is your basic hidden gem, nestled in the hinterlands lying to the east of the Seattle region. Is it rural? OH, yeah. Is it farm-y? Yep, I'd say so.
Last weekend, we Puget Sounders finally--FINALLY--had ourselves a beautiful weekend, and so I mustered up enough motivation to extract myself from the sofa and drive out east.
Scarcely 45 minutes after being surrounded by suburban sprawl, I found myself in a charming little agricultural hamlet. I didn't head any further east, but I'm sure there are other enclaves waiting to be discovered as you get ever closer to the foothills of the Cascades.
